Event Support — Beijing Olympics
In 2008, the world turned its attention to the Summer Olympic Games in Beijjing, where the grand opening ceremony was lauded as "spectacular" and "spellbinding." With those lofty expectations as a backdrop, Jackson Dawson flawlessly managed all events services at the 120th IOC (International Olympics Committee) Meeting attended by President Hu Jingtao and other dignitaries.
We also enhanced the success of the 2008 FILA Congress (Wrestling Association) by designing a crowd-pleasing venue, organizing the entertainment and providing all guests with mementos of the occasion. Another highly visible Jackson Dawson contribution to the Games was producing marketing communications – including graphics, printed brochures, flyers and giveaways – for the XVI ANOC General Assembly.
CORPORATE TEAM BUILDING — ALCATEL-LUCENT / BELL LABS
Bell Labs, a division of Alcatel-Lucent, took on the challenge of unifying their various senior management teams across the globe. Jackson Dawson partnered with Bell Labs to conceive and produce several teambuilding events as part of these efforts. More than mere games or skill tests, our programs brought these groups together in unforgettable fashion, building upon the values and corporate mission of Bell Labs. From air boating in the Everglades, to rock climbing, to wilderness survival challenges, Jackson Dawson and Alcatel-Lucent have forged a successful and inspiring partnership.
DISPLAYS AND EXHIBITS — DR. PEPPER
Dr. Pepper needed a mobile venue for their national taste tour. Creating a fully integrated brand experience, the in-house design and fabrication teams at Jackson Dawson masterminded an expandable, mobile exhibition trailer. Inside and out, the vehicle, the equipment and the design immersed the consumer in the Dr. Pepper brand.
WEB DESIGN AND MANAGEMENT — GM PRODUCTSOURCE
Corporate training and communication are critical to GM’s success. Part of that portfolio of support is the massive GM ProductSource training library, which has been developed and managed by Jackson Dawson from its inception. Our turnkey responsibilities include shooting dozens of vehicles annually and streaming the footage on our dedicated website. The project taps into Jackson Dawson’s robust resources and diverse team of video producers, graphic artists, instructional designers and creative developers. Our in-house IT department enables seamless integration between all the parties. From initial design and web architecture, to coding and installation, to final site management, JD provides support and superior service.
BUSINESS THEATRE & EVENTS — FORD FLEET PRODUCT & BUSINESS CONFERENCE
Each year, Ford Fleet brings together their top Fleet customers from across the country. Over the course of three days packed with meetings, drive experiences and receptions, Jackson Dawson helps Ford bring the entire event to life.
The JD team brings a full slate of skills and support services to the task – from speech development to promotional communications, from staging design and production to exceptional entertainment. We know how to craft themes and articulate business objectives that help drive Ford Fleet’s business forward.
Since we’ve produced these meetings for the past 18 years, we know how to create an energizing blend of communication, camaraderie and inspiration. And our intuitive understanding of the challenge assures consistency and momentum, year after year.
CONSUMER TEST DRIVE — FORD FOCUS TARGET HUNT
When Ford needed to conduct 35,000 test-drives for the 2012 Ford Focus in the space of five months, they called Jackson Dawson. We surpassed their goal in just two months.
To meet the challenge, we did far more than grab cones, chalk and tents from our well-stocked warehouse. Instead, we engineered an innovative, pacesetting brand experience. In an industry-first design, the experience was akin to 'Test Drive' meets 'Guitar Hero' meets 'Grand Turismo'. For example, we wired each Ford Focus with a laser system to 'read' designed targets on the course. Drivers took on our dare to negotiate the course and hit their targets, bringing a video game to life. The system recorded each individual drive, and we sent these videos to each participant. In turn the videos appeared on various social media sites, amplifying Ford's message and reach.
